McLennan County Aggie Mom’s Club Criteria for Fall 2008 Scholarship

The following are recommendations and comments from the Scholarship Committee for scholarships to be awarded for the Fall 2008 semester only:

1. Scholarships are available to McLennan County students planning to attend Texas A&M University College Station in the Fall of 2008.

2. Applicants must be enrolled in undergraduate or graduate school.

3. The Scholarship Committee will not judge the applications, but will serve as administrators only.

4. Applications will be judged by three independent judges not affiliated with the Aggie Moms’ Club, and not from the McLennan County area.

5. The independent judges will know the applicants only by number.

6. The completed application should be sent to Scholarship Chair Linda Morris. Mrs. Morris will forward the numbered applications to the judges.

7. The application must be postmarked no later than April 4, 2008. Applications postmarked after this date will not be accepted.

Students interested in receiving and submitting this application electronically should call Mrs. Morris at 867-2952 (office) or 848-5302 (home).

8. Winners will be notified by May 16, 2008. A list of the winners will be posted on the Aggie Moms’ Club web site after that date. The web site is http://wacomomsclub.com

Scholarship funds will be transferred to Texas A&M University for the students’ accounts. Please look for a $500 credit on the Fall tuition/fee bill.
